The call to initiation rings out loud,
As chiefs gather, standing proud.
Words of wisdom they impart,
To mould and shape a valiant heart.
Charge books in hand, they lead the way,
A more honorable senior chief each day.
Most honorable master chief revered,
Their guidance always to be adhered.
Honorable chief, a title earned,
Respect and honor, always returned.
The anchor is the emblem we hold dear,
A symbol of strength, our traditions clear.
Character and virtue, virtues we uphold,
Humility and fortitude, traits untold.
That we may be of service, our aim true,
Semper Paratus, always ready to do.
Devotion to duty, honor, respect,
Service leadership, we never neglect.
Communication and integrity, our tools,
To serve with pride, never to be fooled.
Our mother was a mermaid, father Neptune king,
Our hats a symbol, of the sea we bring.
With courage and valor, we stand tall,
The Coast Guard's finest, we give our all.
