US Sales Representative – Southeast
Xero Shoes is a leading manufacturer of footwear designed to facilitate natural movement and comfort. This position is part of a U.S. direct sales team that reports to the Director of Sales. The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing wholesale retail partnerships in the Southeast territory with a focus on specialty run, outdoor, and lifestyle footwear retailers.
The Southeast territory is defined by the following states: AL, FL, GA, MS, NC, SC, TN. This position requires extensive travel and will be based in or around Atlanta, GA.
Principal Job Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service
- Achieve ambitious sales and revenue goals that align with Xero’s financial plan.
- Own territory planning and sales strategy execution that creates the required distribution of Xero products to meet sales goals.
- Own all aspects of the sales cycle ensuring the successful sell-in and sell-through of Xero products.
- Develop an understanding of customer needs and make recommendations for unique sales programs and marketing initiatives to satisfy those needs.
- Utilize and coordinate Xero’s cross functional resources (wholesale support, product development, marketing, and IT) to deliver best in class customer service.
Sales Analysis and Reporting
- Actively participate in the sales forecasting and inventory planning process.
- Proactively model, document, and execute retail account business plans, including quarterly performance reviews, ongoing assessments of marketing initiatives, and inventory management.
- Frequently report to the Director of Sales on territory sales plan progress.
- Continually monitoring expenditures against budget.
Sales Representative Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning, data analysis and reporting skills
- Proficiency in Acumatica, Microsoft Office, and G-Suite
- Must have the ability to travel extensively (75% road / 25% home office)
- Passion for Xero Shoes and the minimal footwear movement
Job Type: 40 hours Full-time, benefitted.
Pay: $65,000 - $85,000 DOE
