(0:00) With chat GPT, it seems like we can already deduce that human innovations are limitless. (0:06) Evidently, this AI assistant has become a powerful tool for facilitating conversations, (0:11) providing assistance and increasing productivity, but it has always been limited. (0:15) It didn't have up-to-date data.It couldn't connect to the internet, but OpenAI haven't disappointed. (0:21) The latest upgrade to chat GPT takes the tool to a whole other level. About a month ago, (0:26) OpenAI rolled out the chat GPT plugins for their plus users.(0:30) And since then, almost 600 of these tools have been released into the store. (0:34) But how do you know which of these plugins works best to boost your productivity? (0:37) How can we know which ones are the most effective or even work? Here's the good news. (0:41) We have spent days exploring hundreds of these plugins, so you don't have to.In this video, (0:46) we'll reveal the six best AI plugins that will blow your mind, the 1% of plugins. (0:50) Join us as we look at problem solving tools, productivity enhancers, and creative aids (0:55) that can take how you use chat GPT to the next level. (0:59) As always, timestamps are in the description if you want to jump ahead to a particular tool.(1:03) We'll start with the Wolfram plugin, so you can stop worrying about your maths. (1:07) The Wolfram plugin is a powerful tool that can solve complex math equations, (1:11) plot graphs, and even provide step-by-step solutions. (1:14) Whether you're a student trying to understand calculus, or a professional needing to crunch (1:18) some numbers, this plugin is a game changer. It's like having a personal mathematician at (1:23) your fingertips. To use the Wolfram plugin, you need to follow these steps. (1:28) First, you need to install the plugin. You can do this by going to the plugin (1:32) section of your application and searching for Wolfram. (1:36) Once you find it, click on the install button. After installation, you may need to (1:41) configure the plugin according to your needs. This could involve setting up your preferences (1:45) for how the results are displayed, or linking the plugin to your Wolfram account if you have one. (1:50) Now, you're ready to use the plugin. You can access it by typing in your mathematical (1:54) queries directly into the application search bar.For example, if you want to solve a quadratic (2:00) equation, you can type solve x to the power of 2 plus 5x plus 6 equals 0. The plugin will then (2:06) process your query and provide you with the solution. And the Wolfram plugin can do much (2:11) more than just solve equations. You can ask it to plot graphs, perform complex calculations, (2:17) and even provide step-by-step solutions. To use these features, you simply need to type (2:22) in the appropriate command. For example, to plot a graph, you could type plot y equals x to the (2:28) power of 2. Next up is VoxScript. Whilst this plugin is amazing on its own, (2:33) combining it with number 3 will be a game changer for business owners or productivity (2:37) seekers.This plugin is a versatile tool that allows you to search through various data sources, (2:43) get real-time web search results, and even fetch content from specific websites. (2:48) It's a great tool for researchers, writers, or anyone who needs to gather information quickly (2:52) and efficiently. With VoxScript, you can cut down on the time you spend searching (2:57) and focus more on analyzing and using the information you find. The VoxScript plugin (3:02) offers various functionalities. One way to use it is for content fetching. For example, (3:08) you can use the Get Chunked Paste Bin content from URL function to fetch text from specific (3:13) websites like Paste Bin, GitHub Gists, Githers, or Entry.co. By providing a URL and a chunk number, (3:21) you can retrieve the desired portion of text from the website.Another useful feature of the (3:26) VoxScript plugin is its ability to retrieve YouTube data. With functions like Get YouTube (3:31) Video Data and Get YouTube Transcript Chunk, you can obtain information about specific videos (3:37) or channels, as well as conduct video searches. Moreover, the plugin includes the Get Website (3:43) Content function, which fetches real-time content from a designated website. This feature is handy (3:49) when accessing the latest content from a specific webpage. Next, we have Show Me Diagrams, which is (3:54) a fantastic visualization plugin that is designed to help you visualize complex concepts and ideas. (4:00) Whether you need to brainstorm ideas, explain a difficult concept, or plan a project, (4:05) Show Me Diagrams can help. It's essentially your personal illustrator, able to generate diagrams, (4:10) flowcharts, organizational charts, mind maps, and more, just from your text inputs. (4:15) Here's how to use Show Me Diagrams. After installing the Show Me Diagrams plugin from (4:19) the plugin section of your application, you can start creating diagrams by providing the (4:24) necessary details to the plugin. You can type in a command like, draw a flowchart of (4:29) a software development process, or create an organizational chart for a marketing team. (4:34) Once you press enter, the plugin will process your command and generate the requested diagram. (4:39) If you want to make changes to the diagram, you can edit the command, and the plugin will adjust (4:44) the diagram accordingly. This brings incredible power to business power users, allowing them to (4:49) generate flows and diagrams quickly and easily, all through text prompts alone. No design skills (4:55) required. You are mistaken if you think chat GPT's capabilities are limited to just making a (5:00) conversation with humans.Let us introduce the Zapier plugin. Now you might know Zapier, (5:04) but if you don't, Zapier is the glue of the internet. It allows you to connect different (5:09) apps, services, and tools together in unique ways, allowing you to automate your life.(5:15) The new plugin allows you to automate your work through chat GPT by connecting different (5:19) apps together. It's the mega plugin that unlocks so much more than just connecting (5:23) two tools together. It is a tool that allows you to integrate chat messages with hundreds (5:28) of other online services, such as email, social media, cloud storage, and more. This can (5:34) significantly improve your productivity by automating repetitive tasks and ensuring (5:39) seamless data flow between different applications. Once connected, you can start creating Zaps, (5:45) which are automated workflows that connect your apps and services together. For example, (5:49) you can create a Zap that automatically saves your chat GPT conversations to a Google Sheet.(5:55) You can set up and manage your Zaps directly within the chat GPT application. The real power (6:00) comes when you combine plugins together, taking the diagrams created by show me diagrams, (6:05) for example, adding data from Wolfram and piping that through to a new presentation (6:09) or report. Ever wanted to get summaries of reports or documents you are sent, (6:14) or just know what those legal terms mean? Well, Ask Your PDF is a versatile plugin that (6:20) transforms your PDFs into a searchable and interactive format. It allows you to ask (6:24) questions about your PDF documents and it fetches the answer directly from the text. (6:29) This can be incredibly useful when dealing with large documents or when you need to find (6:33) specific information quickly. After installing, you need to upload a PDF file to the plugin.(6:39) Once the file is uploaded, the plugin will process the text and make it searchable. (6:43) You can then ask questions about the content of the PDF like what is the definition of term x or (6:48) what is the conclusion of the study? The plugin will scan the document and provide you with the (6:53) most relevant answer. Imagine combining this with zaps in order to send data from reports (6:58) directly to summaries or creating charts based on data in PDFs.And for those wanting to get (7:04) information from YouTube videos without watching, then check out our last incredible plugin. It's (7:12) an extraordinary plugin that provides in-depth analysis of video content. How Your Brain Falls In Love Dawn Maslar TEDxBocaRaton

(0:10) How does your brain fall in love? Is it something magical that happens to your brain? Or is there something biological that happens to your brain that causes us to fall in love? That was my question. This is what we know about love. We know that certain neurotransmitters increase in some drop.Your cortisol level, the stress hormone increases, causing you to feel nervous. (0:38) While your oxytocin level increases, causing you to feel amorous. A woman's testosterone goes up, causing her to be more aggressive, while a man's drops, causing him to be more passive.(0:55) And in both, their serotonin level drops, causing them to be a little more obsessed. And although we know what happens, we don't know how you get there. (1:07) There are certain chemical processes that happen, including the tipping point where you have an increase and also an enzymatic reaction where you have a subsequent decrease.(1:20) Either of these would fit nicely into that missing section. So I was pondering this and I just happened to be on vacation. (1:29) I was visiting my family and I have a cousin who is a PhD in biochemistry. So I decided to use the opportunity to pick his brain. (1:41) I told him what we knew about, or what I knew about love, and I said certain neurotransmitters go up, certain ones go down. I think it may be biochemical.(1:51) I looked at him and he gave this expression of plausible. I said some may have a tipping point reaction. He said plausible, or looked plausible.(2:04) And then I said others may be enzymatic with a subsequent decrease. Again, he gave me the exfacial expression of plausible. He's not a big talker, so I thought this was going really well.(2:18) But before I could formulate my next question, my then 95-year-old grandmother spoke up and she said, you youngsters don't know anything about love. (2:30) And I was shocked and I said, yeah, I know that's why we're talking about this. (2:35) She said, your problem is you young girls jump in the bed too quick. You fall in love, but a boy doesn't fall in love that way. (2:45) And I kind of looked at her and I said, okay, let's talk a little bit more. How does a boy fall in love? And she said, back in my day, a girl knew if she wanted a boy to fall in love with him, she couldn't sleep with him right away.(3:03) Now, I had heard that stuff before. There was things like the three-day role. There's the 90-day role from Steve Harvey's book, act like a lady, think like a man.(3:13) But I always thought those were anecdotal. I didn't think there was any science behind it. So I looked over at my cousin. His face no longer said plausible. (3:23) But I decided to continue with my grandmother because of the date, the question was the date. I said, how long do you need to wait before you have sex? (3:36) She says, ah, you wait until you have sex until he falls in love.(3:43) Okay, well, Granny, how do I know when he falls in love? She says, ah, that's easy. You know he's in love when he commits. (3:53) I looked over at my cousin and I was like, what do you think? And he hung his head and he just shook it.(4:03) He said, okay, Granny, it's time to go home. (4:07) I realized he was not buying any of this and my research had to continue on it another day. I returned home and I hit the research library.(4:17) The problem is there's not a lot of research out on how humans fall in love, primarily because of the way we do research. (4:24) Imagine a guy saying, oh, I love you. He falls in love and a researcher walking up saying, congratulations.(4:28) Can I inject this into your brain to see if it has an effect? You're not going to get many volunteers. (4:36) So we had to rely on the next best thing, animal studies, but what animals fall in love? (4:42) Well, we know in humans fall in love, they show exclusiveness to one person. (4:48) So they started looking at other creatures that had made it exclusively and they ended up settling on these guys, the monogamous prairie role.(4:58) When a prairie role finds a mate that they're interested, they will basically mate for life. (5:06) So they started looking at the neurotransmitters to see what was going on. (5:10) And what they discovered was one of the first things that increases is dopamine.(5:15) When dopamine increases and if they block the dopamine, they would lose a loving feeling. (5:22) So they thought, oh, dopamine, but they knew there was a problem. (5:25) Dopamine couldn't be with human romantic love because dopamine goes up with a lot of things.(5:31) It goes up with gambling, chocolate, playing candy crush. (5:39) So it couldn't possibly be dopamine. So they said, well, we know there's another one that's involved in bonding.(5:46) It's called oxytocin. (5:49) And oxytocin goes up with mothers and children that causes them to bond. (5:54) So they said, let's take a look at that.So they looked at that. (5:57) They found that when a female finds a man she's interested in, her oxytocin goes up by 51%. (6:04) And then if they block it, she loses that loving feeling.(6:08) So they said, ah, it must be dopamine and oxytocin. (6:13) But there was a problem. It can't be oxytocin for a man because of testosterone.(6:21) Testosterone blocks the effects of oxytocin. So they said, oh, it's got to be something different. (6:27) They looked at another one that had a similar formula to oxytocin and that is vasopressin.(6:33) So they did the study again. They injected the voles with, or the vol would meet. (6:39) They'd have the vasopressin. They jacked an antagonist, a chemical block to the vasopressin. (6:45) He would lose that loving feeling. So they said, oh, then it's got to be dopamine and vasopressin for males (6:54) and possibly some testosterone because we know that it goes up with that.(6:58) So they said, ah, perfect. What does that mean for us? Is this applicable? (7:04) To find that out, I wrote to one of the head of the studies at Florida State University. (7:10) And I asked, is the voles study applicable to humans? (7:14) His response is a little embarrassing. He wrote back, of course, dawn, explanation point. (7:21) The explanation point is his. I didn't want to write back for further clarification.(7:27) That was a little embarrassing. So I didn't have to. Fortunately for me, (7:31) Tiffany Love from the University of Michigan came out publicly and she said that she believed (7:38) that the voles studies in human love, romantic love, were the similar. So great. (7:45) Now, what does that mean? Well, if we look back at the mechanism, we can see that for females, (7:51) that would mean dopamine increases and oxytocin increases. Well, dopamine increases when we're dating, (7:57) when we're going to win the, we're excited. We're going to win the grand prize of love. (8:02) So as long as you're dating and you're happy and you're dating, your dopamine's going up. (8:07) Oxytocin goes up.It's called the cuddle hormone or the trust hormone. So when you're kissing, cuddling, (8:13) having a good time, the oxytocin is increasing. And as you're dating a man and you're learning to trust him, (8:19) your oxytocin increase. But there's a catch. Oxytocin slowly builds up that way, (8:25) but it's skyrockets at orgasm. In other words, my grandmother might have been on to something.(8:35) Remember what she said? You girls jump in a bed too quick. You fall in love. (8:40) It was starting to look like the science was panning out from what my grandmother said.(8:46) So I looked at the other part. How does a man fall in love? Well, if we look at it, dopamine, (8:51) of course, if he has a good time, his dopamine's going up, but how does his vasopressin go up? (8:56) The vasopressin goes up when a man is sexually stimulated. So if he's dating a woman he's sexually interested in, (9:04) the vasopressin increases. But here's the catch. Unlike oxytocin, the vasopressin drops when he has sex. (9:14) So how important is that? Well, I looked into it further for the state university ran a study and they said (9:21) it's not just the neurotransmitters that are important. You have to have the receptors. And how do you get the receptors? (9:28) You get the receptors with the presence of the neurotransmitters. The neurotransmitters tell your body to build the receptors.(9:34) So you have to have the neurotransmitters high enough to build the receptors so they can get them filled. (9:39) So that means it takes some time. But there was one other thing my grandmother said.(9:44) You remember, you know a man's in love with you when he commits. Could commitment have anything to do with this? (9:52) To find that out, I found a study from the United States Air Force. The Air Force followed over 2,000 servicemen for more than a decade, (10:03) taking various tests. One of the tests that they took was for testosterone. What they found is when a guy comes in (10:11) and he's single, his testosterone's relatively high. But soon as he gets married, it drops.(10:18) Remember what I told you about testosterone? It blocks the effects of oxytocin. Oxytocin is a bonding hormone. (10:27) So it was kind of looking like it could have something to do with it.But it needed further clarification. (10:33) Was it marriage or was it actually commitment? They did a study at Harvard University. (10:37) They took married men, single men, and men and committed relationships. They tested their testosterone. (10:45) This is what they discovered. Like the Air Force study, the men that had were married or sorry, single had high testosterone, (10:54) where the men that were married had lower testosterone. And here's the catch. The men that were single or the men that were married (11:03) and the men that were in committed relationships, the testosterone level did not differ. That means that the testosterone didn't drop (11:11) when he got married. It dropped prior when he committed. So that means my grandmother looks like she was right. (11:20) Not women take a bigger risk and tend to fall in love when she has sex.And men tend to fall in love when he has commitment. (11:31) So that confirms something for me that I always suspected. Not just that women tend to fall in love with sex and men with commitment.(11:40) Something even more important. And that is my grandmother is brilliant.
